About

Zen construction Inc was founded by Brandain "Ben" MacDomhnaill in 2011. Ben, a native of Co. Waterford Ireland, has spent over 15 years as a site supervisor after moving to the Bay Area in early 2001. Prior to this Ben trained as a diesel mechanic in Ireland. This combined with his passion for heavy equipment gives Ben an hands-on approach for customizing machinery for challenging projects. He especially enjoys jobs that require solving engineering challenges.

Ben has spent 13 of his 15 years as a site supervisor working in the bay area overseeing large excavation, demolition, Concrete and drainage projects (for example Laguna Honda Hospital in SF, New site development for Genentech in South San Francisco, New site development for Dominican College in San Rafael).

During 2008-2010 Ben spent 2 years in Melbourne, Australia working as a site supervisor where he gained experience overseeing the new construction of wetlands, lakes, and bioretention basins and drainage systems all connected to newly constructed subdivisions.
